Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears Preview
The Green Bay Packers romped past the top seeded Falcons last week 48-21 while looking like the best team in football. As for the Chicago Bears, they rolled past the Seahawks 35-24 in a game that was not nearly as close as the final score indicates, as Seattle scored two garbage touchdowns with the Bears up 35-10.
This sets up the third meeting of the year this season for these old time hated division rivals.
The NFL playoff line for this contest is Green Bay -3½ at betting odds of -120 on the road, with the betting total set at 43½.

NFL Championship Games Sides Preview
We went just 1-2 in out NFL Side calls in the Divisional Round, correctly calling the Packers upset of Atlanta while losing in unlucky fashion with the Ravens +3½ and coming up woefully short with the Patriots.

Green Bay Packers at Atlanta Falcons -NFL Preview
The Green Bay Packers appeared to dominate play in their Wild Card Playoff win over the Eagles, so it was somewhat surprising that Philadelphia had the ball with a chance to win in the final minute. Michael Vick’s interception ended that hope though, so it sets up the Packers for this rematch with the Atlanta Falcons, the top seed in the NFC after a 13-3 regular season.
The NFL playoff odds list Atlanta at -2 at home, with the betting total set at 43½.

NFL Divisional Round Playoffs Preview
We did the splits in the NFL Wild Card Round going 2-2, correctly calling the upsets by the New York Jets and Green Bay Packers, but failing badly with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Saints vs. Seahawks ‘under’. We now look to improve on that record with our Divisional Round plays.
Saturday, January 15th
Baltimore Ravens (13-4) at Pittsburgh Steelers (12-4) 4:30 ET CBS

Green Bay Packers at Philadelphia Eagles Preview
The Green Bay Packers (10-6) overcame a potentially fatal loss at Detroit in which Aaron Rodgers went down with a concussion to win their last two games after Rodgers returned to earn this playoff spot, while the Philadelphia Eagles (10-6) stumbled down the stretch.
The NFL Wild Card odds have Philadelphia at -2.5 at betting odds of -115 at home, with the betting total set at 46.

2011 Super Bowl Future Betting
Now that the NFL Playoffs are here, it is time to dissect the Super Bowl Future odds to see where the value lies.
The key to playing futures is to find a team that is undervalued at double-digit odds, as that always leaves open the possibility of hedging your wager down the line if you so desire, provided you are correct and your team exceeds expectations.
Well, we did not have to look far to find such a team, so here is our one and only Super Bowl future selection for 2010.

NFL Wild Card Playoffs Preview and Odds
The NFL playoffs have arrived, and what stands out in the wild card round is that in three of the four games, the road team has the better record. That should increase the likelihood of several wild cards advancing to the next round, especially with one of the host teams being the Seattle Seahawks, who made the playoffs with a losing record.
The closest game, if the Wild Card odds are to be believed, will be either the Jets at Colts or the Packers at Eagles with both teams at -2.5. The biggest spread is in the Saints at Seahawks with the Saints, unsurprisingly, at -11.

NFL Juicy Super Bowl Futures
We are getting in to the home-stretch of the NFL season where the teams that can truly win under pressure separate themselves from the talented teams that can’t function under pressure (ahem, Dallas). With that said, if you are going to bet on Super Bowl futures, you can get some pretty good deals if you think you know which teams have the right make up to win in high-pressure situations.

Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings NFL Betting Preview
The Green Bay Packers (6-3) finally beat Brett Favre for the first time ever when they beat these Minnesota Vikings (3-6) earlier this season. Now, they have a chance to drive one final nail into the Vikings coffin for this season.
The NFL betting lines list Green Bay as 3-point favorites with money line odds of -120 on the road, and a total set at 44.
To give you an idea of just how much the fortunes for these teams have changed since the first meeting this season, consider that the Green Bay Packers were only 2.5-point favorites at home for that game. Now, they are actually favored by a tad more than that at on the road at Minnesota.
