Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings Preview
The Chicago Bears (9-4) were routed by the Patriots 36-7 last week, but they maintained sole possession of the NFC North lead with the Packers also losing, while the Minnesota Vikings (5-8) were overwhelmed 21-3 by the Giants in a listless performance on a neutral field in Detroit.
Odds are not currently being offered on this NFL betting matchup as the quarterbacking situation is still in limbo.
The Minnesota Vikings will be back in Minnesota this week, but not at home at the Metrodome, which will not be ready for several weeks at the earliest. Instead, this game will be played outdoors at the home of the University of Minnesota, TCF Bank Stadium, and it is again questionable how much energy the Vikings will bring to the contest.

NFL Juicy Super Bowl Futures
We are getting in to the home-stretch of the NFL season where the teams that can truly win under pressure separate themselves from the talented teams that can’t function under pressure (ahem, Dallas). With that said, if you are going to bet on Super Bowl futures, you can get some pretty good deals if you think you know which teams have the right make up to win in high-pressure situations.

Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears Betting Preview
The Monday Night Football game this week features another home underdog, as the Chicago Bears host the Green Bay Packers, marking the third Monday night underdog in three weeks. The San Francisco 49ers covered in this role last week after the Kansas City Chiefs won outright in Week 1.
The NFL Odds currently list Green Bay as -3 on the road, with the betting ‘total’ set at 46.

Chicago Bears 2010-2011 Season Preview
A Look Back – Around this time last season, the Chicago Bears had to feel great about their position as legitimate contenders after acquiring QB Jay Cutler from the Denver Broncos. Oops. Cutler chucked 26 picks against 27 touchdown passes and was the cause of more defeats than he was the reason for victories. Losing LB Brian Urlacher, the team’s captain and leader on the field, right at the outset of the season really didn’t help matters either. A 7-9 season almost certainly puts everyone in the Windy City on the hot seat, and failing to reach the second season once again will surely see plenty of heads rolling in the offseason.

Where will Julius Peppers end up?

Julius Peppers
One more day until we find out whether Julius Peppers goes for the money or he goes for the chance to win a championship.
He already has a boatload of money from his time with the Carolina Panthers, so he doesn’t need to pursue the highest-value contract. But, you can never have enough mansions.
If he wants to go for a Super Bowl, he’s going to have to accept less money since none of the teams that play in the sort of situation that he’s looking for can afford to spend what Peppers is asking for.
